The Navy is installing $500 million in military care package to help people with mental health issues at a base in Fort Belvoir, Va.
The package includes services for veterans and military spouses who may need support.
It includes support for people living in military housing, such as those who are homeless and who have had a mental health diagnosis.
The base was built in 1950 to house Navy ships in the Caribbean Sea.
The Navy moved to a larger, new base in the 1980s.
The new base will have about 1,500 workers and will be home to a new hospital, a dental clinic and other services.
The $500m package is part of an overall $5 billion Navy program to help veterans and their families with medical needs.
It was announced Wednesday by Capt. Mike Tomsheck, the Navy’s director of medical support.
“These new packages will provide critical support for our veterans, families, and loved ones, including support for a range of mental health conditions, including PTSD, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD),” Tomshewck said in a statement.
“For those who suffer from PTSD and their loved ones are not able to access the care they need, the services we will provide will include support to assist in their recovery, mental health and emotional support services, substance abuse and treatment services, and community outreach and advocacy.”
The Navy says its military care program has been in place since 2005.
A recent Navy survey found that the number of people who were able to receive VA medical care rose by 8.5 percent between 2007 and 2015, from 13,000 to 19,000.
The VA said the service had about 15,500 mental health professionals on active duty.
The latest survey also found that, of those who had seen a psychologist, the majority had not received a diagnosis.
“The Navy continues to work closely with VA to support the veterans and families who rely on VA for care and support,” Tomshell said in the statement.
Tomshewsaid the Navy is “dedicated to working with VA professionals to improve the quality of care and the quality and accessibility of care in the VA system.
The military care system provides veterans and veterans spouses the ability to access care that is tailored to their needs, and VA is committed to helping our veterans and spouses access VA services and services they need.”
The military health care program is called the Integrated Care System, and it’s designed to help provide support for veterans, their spouses and other members of the armed forces who are living with mental illness or who have been diagnosed with PTSD.
Veterans can get VA care through a range and specialized medical clinics.
They can also go directly to a VA clinic, which typically is staffed by trained VA clinicians.
Veterans who have not had a diagnosis can get care at a VA hospital.
A military spouse who is experiencing a mental illness can also access VA care at an outpatient clinic.
The U.S. military health system has about 1.2 million mental health workers and supports more than 8 million veterans.
The service has been grappling with the issue of PTSD since 2009.
The number of military members diagnosed with the disorder more than doubled in the past decade to about 6,000 in fiscal year 2017.
PTSD has been linked to a wide range of psychological and physical health issues.
It can be debilitating and cause people to lose their jobs and to live in fear.
The Service Employees International Union says veterans are disproportionately affected by the military care issue.
In addition to veterans, more than 2.3 million military spouses have a mental disorder, according to the U.A.W. VA says military families often struggle with mental illnesses as well.
The Army is among the services that offers a wide variety of care for veterans.
Military service members can receive treatment for their mental health or physical health conditions.
The Pentagon has said the military’s suicide prevention program is working to help prevent veterans from taking their own lives.
