Wired’s Paul Szoldra reports that Disney’s new Plus package has just been announced by Disney.
In addition to the current Disney Plus bundle, Disney has also announced new Disney+ packages for the following products:• The Star Wars: Episode VII—The Force Awakens Star Wars Premium Edition (available March 5)• The Avengers: Age of Ultron (available April 2)• Star Wars Land (available May 11)• Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (available June 9)The new Plus packages also come with some new restrictions.
The most notable of which is that Disney Plus packages must include Disney+ membership for a minimum of two years.
This means that members can’t buy additional Disney+ content (like Disney+ Movies Plus) with their Disney Plus membership, nor can they purchase the new Plus bundles at the same time as they purchase a new DisneyPlus membership.
The new Plus memberships are still available at participating retail stores.
We will continue to keep you updated as more details become available.
