Newsweek’s Mike Schmitz reports that Altium, the world’s largest provider of aquariums and aquarium accessories, is getting ready to introduce its first packaging for fish care products in the U.S. — dubbed the Altia Fishing Care Package.
This product line will come in a wide range of packaging materials and will be marketed for the purpose of making it easier for consumers to identify the products they are buying, Schmits notes.
The Altia packaging will include a variety of products including aquariums, aquarium accessories and accessories for fish.
The products will also include an additional product, a special Altium pet-friendly filter, that will include an acrylic base and a soft, removable filter that allows fish to get their daily dose of air, Schmitts writes.
The packaging will be available to Altium customers in the United States beginning April 10.
It is not clear when the products will be released to customers in Europe.
In a statement to Newsweek, Altium said that the packaging is a key part of Altiums new strategy to make it easier to identify its products and will help consumers better understand their fish care needs.
The company has previously released a promotional video for the product, and Schmitlitz writes that it’s likely the new packaging will feature new fish care packaging that includes a soft filter, soft base and an acrylic filter.
Schmitz also notes that Altia is planning to release more of its products, including the new Altia pet-safe filter, to consumers.
