Posted August 29, 2018 11:33:23When Donald Trump announced his stimulus package in January 2017, it was billed as a way to “reinvent” the federal government, to cut the costs of government services and boost private sector growth.
Trump’s plan was to use the money to fund $1 trillion worth of “economic stimulus” projects, including infrastructure and research projects.
The stimulus package was a massive, sprawling, and costly undertaking that has never been funded or used to its full potential, according to several government watchdog groups.
But the Trump administration has been using its $300 million budget to cut funding for nearly all of the stimulus projects that were actually planned or proposed for the federal budget.
The Trump administration’s $300 Million stimulus bill is the most dramatic example of how the administration has attempted to cut off any stimulus projects it has funded.
This included projects to create “a new national manufacturing facility,” the building of a new research facility, and the construction of a “new office building.”
“This is just one example of the administration trying to cut out anything that could possibly be a stimulus project,” said Paul Butler, executive director of the Government Accountability Office.
“It’s very clear that the stimulus is not the answer to this problem.”
While there were some $1 billion in projects that the Trump budget cut, most of them have never gotten built, including the building or expansion of the U.S. Coast Guard.
The $300M stimulus bill was the first such $300 Billion stimulus package to be cut from the $1.8 trillion budget Trump requested.
Trump then cut the rest of the $300B budget, eliminating funding for the U:S.
National Guard, the Army Corps of Engineers, and a number of other programs.
The $300 billion in cuts to the stimulus packages was the largest in federal spending history.
The spending reductions were part of a $600 billion budget reduction package Trump signed in April, but it was not a direct part of the budget cut package that he submitted to Congress.
The cuts to stimulus programs that Trump was cutting, however, were a significant part of his budget proposal.
The cuts would have had a massive impact on federal agencies and taxpayers.
The Trump administration also cut funding to the Department of Transportation, which was responsible for funding a number other projects.
This spending cut included cuts to federal employees and funding to state and local governments.
The federal government’s $2.8 billion budget for 2019 was the lowest in decades, according the Congressional Budget Office.
